【其他】常見網路遊戲（聊天）英文縮寫用語

就像台版會有很多簡寫或是網路新興詞彙一樣，
英文版（相信其他語言也是）一定也有的，
因為網路文化興起所帶動的常用語，
無關英文程度，沒見過就是看不懂。
之前剛開始接觸英文版遊戲的時候，
遇到人家連用縮寫，真是一個頭兩個大，
之後找到一個網路常用遊戲術語，讀完之後大概知道一些，
然後臉皮厚，遊戲中也常問人家，就懂了一些。
底下附上一些常用到的，
（收集自網路，編輯過，中文是我自己打的...）
希望對有接觸外國遊戲的玩家有幫助喔～～

AFAIK = As far as I know 據我所知
AFK - Away from Keyboard 暫離
AoE = Area of Effect 非以自身為中心的範圍法術
atm = at the moment 此刻，現在
BBL = Be Back Later 等下回來
brb = be right back.. 馬上回來
brb, bio = be right back, take a bathroom break 上廁所，馬上回來（解決生理需求）
brt = be right there 馬上到（馬上過去）
buff = a power that increases the abilities 輔助法術效果
Burn = To dump a lot of damage into a mob in order to kill it quickly 秒怪
CC = Crowd Control (Immobilizing/Holding/Sleeping extra enemies) 集體控制法術 （恐懼，沉默，癱瘓，催眠等等）
Char/Toon = PC character 遊戲中的角色
dam = damage 傷害
debuff = a power that decreases the abilities 負面法術效果
d/c = disconnects 斷線
DoT = Damage Over Time 持續傷害
dps = damage per second 每秒傷害
exp or XP = experience 經驗值
GM = Game Master 遊戲中的管理員
grats or gratz = Congratulations 恭喜
GTG or G2G = "Got To Go" meaning they need to leave 我得走了
idk = I don't know 我不知道
imo = in my opinion 我個人認為
imho = in my humble opinion 依在下淺見（客氣用法，常用）
Inc! = Incomming Monsters 怪來了！
iirc = if I recall correctly 如果我沒記錯的話
Kite = To run around holding the attension of a monster staying out of melee range 風箏（不知道的爬一下文）
KS = Kill steal 搶怪的人（小白）
LD = Lag/Disconnect or Link Death. 延遲斷線
LOL - Laugh Out Loud 大笑
lowbie = someone whose character is of low power 遊戲角色還很低的玩家（注意也指經驗不足的玩家）
Mob = NPC monster, means Mobile Object 遊戲中的怪物（非boss等級）
Newbie = Someone new to the game 遊戲的新手（注意和lowbie又不同）
n00b = Someone who is annoying/refuses to learn/stupid. 講不聽教不會的的新手
np = no problem 沒問題
NPC = Non-Player Character 非玩家角色
omw = on my way 前往（目的）中，過去了
PBAoE = Point-Blank (or player-based) Area of Effect 以自身為中心的範圍法術
PC = Player Character 玩家角色
PK = Player Killer 玩家角色對戰（殺）
Pull = To hit a specific enemy, in order to begin combat 拉怪
PvE = Player vs Environment (PC vs NPC)
PvP = Player vs Player (PC vs PC)
Rez = Ressurrect/Revive player 復活
ROFL = Rolling On Floor Laughing 笑翻在地
rtm = read the manual 去翻遊戲手冊（通常對不看說明就愛問東問西的玩家說）
spam = 1) Inane chatter on the public channels 大量垃圾訊息 2) Using your powers--especially one--in mindless succession on a mob until dead 連續快速使用同種技能把怪弄死
spawn = a mob or group of mobs (enemies) appearing at a particular spot （怪物）重生
Tank = To engage combat in a manner designed to keep the attention of the enemies 坦克（不懂的請爬文）
toon = character 遊戲角色（玩家遊戲中的化身）
ty = thank you 謝謝
ui = user interface 使用者介面
wb = welcome back 歡迎回來
wtb = want to buy （我）要買
wts = want to sell （我）要賣
wtf = what the fxxx （這個不翻譯了...看懂的就知道）
yw = you're welcome 不客氣

另外幾個常見的通則：
1) 該大寫的都沒大寫 i = I
2) 取諧音 u = you, i c = i see
3) 用數字諧音 before = b4, straight = st8, wait = w8
4) 縮寫符號也省了 id = I'd, you've = uv

難怪老外現在也要興那個中學寫作課了，這種東西從小看到大，
會有作文能力才有鬼勒～～
