今天所學的 lucid 有表示「光明」的字根 luc ( lustr，lumin ) ，illustrious ( 傑出；顯赫的 ) 其中的 ill 發 i 的音，所以意思是 in ( 裡面 ) ，(i)ous 形容詞片尾 ，在光芒之中會讓人覺得是鶴立雞群的。而另一個 lumin 讓我想到《哈利波特》中的咒語 - 路摸思 ( Lumos ) 也一樣具有光明的意思，而 luminous ( 發亮的，明亮 的) ，後面的 ous 是形容詞字尾。
