That's true both here in the Mortal Realm and back in the Infernal Realm.

I was never really fond of the Infernal Realm, and didn't see much of a future for myself there, so I moved on over to the Mortal Realm.
我一直都不太喜歡魔界,在那邊也看不太到自己的未來,所以我在人界定居下來了。
I've managed to scrape by since then with the meager funds I get from the Infernal Realm and what little I earn at work.

莫娜：主人...看來你沒有朋友對吧?噢~真是太可憐了...
Master：Bwuh? What does that have to do with anything? And I do have friends, okay?Now what's this news you're going on about?
主人公：吵...吵死了。這兩件事八竿子打不著邊好嗎?而且我才不是孤身一人呢好嗎?話說妳說的那個新聞是什麼東西?
Mona：Well, you see,the whole Infernal realm has been thrown into quite a celebratory fracas, you see!
莫娜：現在整個魔界都沉浸在一片騒動當中喔!?
Mona：Our current Archfiend, Lucifaro, suddenly announced that he was retiring and vanished without a trace. Just out of the blue!
莫娜：現任魔王路西法羅突然間發表退休宣言,然後就消失得無影無蹤。總之就是離家出走啦!
Master：Wait, THE Archfiend just abdicated the throne and ran off?!
主人公：離家出走!?魔王嗎?!
Mona：Yes indeed, and now an Archfiend Contest is underway to select the next heir to the throne.And you just agreed to join that contest, Master!
莫娜：於是乎,現在进行的這場魔王爭奪戰,就是為了選出继承他寶座的下一任魔王啊。而且你剛剛已經同意参加爭奪戰了,主人!
